Keeping the water fresh, clean, and between 65-68 degrees is required for healthy fish. A 10-gallon aquarium is recommended for one fish. When feeding, a goldfish should be able to consume all you feed it within two minutes, once a day. They are happiest having hiding places. Make sure you make at least half their home a playground!

A pond is the best goldfish environment. They like a BIG, cold water tank with lots of room to grow and swim. One goldfish would be happy in a 10 gallon tank alone. Unless you have space for a very, very big tank, don't get lots of goldfish. They will just fight and be unhappy.

If you have an outdoor pond in a nice climate that would be best for a lot of goldfish. If not, get the biggest aquarium you can afford and have room for. They like their water cooler then tropical fish. There is no such thing as too much filtration with goldfish.

A clean one! Make sure that your tank or bowl is cleaned regularly, either with a filter or by changing the water often. All fish like plants and rock hideouts, and real plants are a plus too! Real plants give oxygen out into the water, in which make your fish more lively!

Goldfish are very resilient fish and they can live in a range of environments. If you want to get a lot of them, you will need a large tank with room temperature fresh water, and a bubbler to ensure that they get enough oxygen.

A 1 inch of fish needs a minimum of 1 gallon of water, so if you have 2 one inch goldfish, they need to be in 2 gallons of water. You can place them in a fish tank or bowl. You need to do a water change weekly.

Goldfish like lots of room, so get a large aquarium. They like fresh water and lots of places to hide in the tank. Feed them only once a day.

It should not be kept in a gold fish bowl because it does not have measured oxygen supply and bowls are small to clean and not spacious. 20 gallons preferred.
