Jogging requires light weight clothing but it if it is raining you will want some protection. Avoid cotton and invest in synthetic all weather pull over and hat made out of synthetic material. Don't try to run in something that is not breathable like a rain jacket or poncho this will could cause you to overheat or dehydrate.

A lightweight poncho is best to use when jogging in rain if you are concerned about getting wet, because it does not weigh much and will not impede your movements. Sunglasses can also be helpful for keeping the rain out of your eyes, and a protective case for any music player or cell phone is recommended.

When jogging in the rain, one should wear a rain-resistant outer layer, such as a light jacket. A sweatshirt is also acceptable. Depending on the temperature, one would also require a pair of either mesh shorts or wind pants.

NOT cotton! It soaks up water and becomes heavy. If it's hot, a light weight T-shirt made of water wicking material like dry fit is good. Light weight running shorts, and non cotton socks. If it's cold, add a light weight water proof jacket, and gloves.

I suggest wearing some sweat pants and a long sleeve shirt that does not absorb the rain. Also get some reflective clothing for extra visibility in the rain.

It is best to dress in layers. Even in warm weather you need to wear clothes close to your body that will get rid of sweat or absorb it and keep you cool. Your outerwear should be waterproof. It is important to wear a hat with a brim to keep water away from eyes. Nonskid shoes are a must.

Wear a hat to keep rain out of your eyes. Don't wear a raincoat as it doesn't breathe. Stay visible at all times and enjoy the run in the rain.

If you decide to run or jog in the rain you should wear an outer layer that is water resisitant. You should also take into account that visibility may be poor so you should wear something bright or with reflective strips.

I would chose a wind breaking or rain resistant type of material to wear while jogging in the rain. The wind breaker material is nice because it is very light and the water will fall right off the material.

I would use a hooded, plastic rain poncho. This would be the best gear because you would't have to hold an umbrella while trying to jog.

There is no clothing that will be completely waterproof. Clothing made with Gore-Tex is pretty weather-resistant. Any clothing that is designed to dry quickly would be helpful. Hoods mights help, too.

Clothing, being that it is not optional in our society, is imperative. Everyone is expected to sport an appropriate outfit corresponding to the activity they are partaking in. For a moderate run during unfortunate weather, wear UnderArmor.

If it is a light rain and not cold, you are best just wearing a technical shirt designed for wicking sweat and a cap to keep the rain out of your eyes If it is a heavy rain, you want a waterproof shell for your top and the hat for your head. Don't worry about your legs.
