On the scale of income for doctors, pediatricians make little money. Average cost of attending medical school is $140,000. Pediatricians make $180,000 annually. This is compared to Urologist who get paid about $375,000 on the average. While pediatricians don't make a lot, they work they do is very important.

Salary is always depends on your education attainment and experience. I would bet more than $120,000 for 1st and 2nd year for typical pediatrician, then in the 3rd year its 150,000 i bet, and for Specialized pediatricians 200,000 to $250,000. its also vary the location, experience and Specialization.

Well, it is worth the effort but then again it depends on if you have your own clinic or not. It also depends on the number of clients you have at your clinic. A doctor can make 120 grand to 300 grand per year depending on all of the significant factors.
