What is proper etiquette for a restaurant hostess to learn?

You must be polite and greet people. You must take them to their table help them be seated, get them what they need such as a baby seat,napkins, silverware, etc. If a table isn't ready,be sure to let them know how long it will be. Overall, being polite is the most important factor.

Always call guests by their last names and a title. Smile at everyone. Be calm and courteous no matter how people act towards you.
