Normal stools for infants around three months of age include a soft consistency. The color should be light brown variations. Hard and thick stools could indicate there is a digestion issue or constipation. You should always contact your pediatritian if you notice a change accompanied by any sudden discomfort your baby may have.

After being fed, it can take about 45 minutes to an hour for the baby to have a bm but it's alright if it takes a little longer though if more than an hour and a half goes by, he/she may be constipated.

It's probably going to be a yellow-ish brown color and it could be seedy in texture. It shouldn't be runny like diarrhea but it will be kind of sticky. If your baby is drinking breast milk he may poop after each feeding. If he drinks formula he many only poop once a day.

Three month old bowel movements will be soft and water. It should not be a solid since a 3 month old only drinks breast milk or formula. Some days the infant may not have a bowel movement, if it is longer than two days, check with your pediatrician if there is something wrong.

It's not uncommon that they move their bowels 3 times a day. It all depends on the type of diet. Formula or breast milk. Some babies have started on rice cereal thinned out. Check with your pediatrician.

By the time a baby reaches three months of age, the bowel movements should be more regular, loose from bottle diet and about two to four times a day is around normal.

If they are breast-fed you should expect yellowish, watery, seedy looking bowel movement. If they are on formula you can expect green, more putty-like bowel movements.

Baby poop can be so variable. If baby is only breastfed, poop is probably looser and lighter in color than a baby on formula. Normal frequency can be several times a day to every couple of days.

A three month old should have one to two bowel movements a day of normal consistancy. If the movements are runny and not solid you should consult with a doctor.

Normal can vary for a three month old, depending on how they're fed. In a formula fed baby, expect solid, dark, adult-like bowel movements between twice a day and once every other day. For a breastfed baby, expect soft, yellow, sweet-smelling bowel movements that may appear seedy and can vary in frequency from once a week to once every feeding.
