What is involved in starting a weeping birch tree from a seed?

I have some birch trees in my yard, but would like more! How do I start seedlings?

One option is to graft from a European Birch, another option is to plant some seedlings, but do so mid winter time so that they are frozen before germination.

Plant a few seeds into nutrient enriched soil and then water daily. Watch the tree grow but don't plant near another tree. You don't want the tree to get to big and encompassing over another tree so plant from a distance and plant a few seeds dependent on size of the tree you want.

You can grow new trees a lot faster by cutting saplings from the tree and stating them in a cup of water and miracle gro.

In order to start a weeping birch tree from a seed, you will want to use peat pelets. Place the seed into peat pelets until they sprout.
