Inclosing a deck is relatively simple. All you have to do is extend the roof from your house. Once thats done its a simple matter of putting up a frame around the sides and decideing if you want it closed in with wood or screening. It can be accomplished in the matter of a few hours with the right materials.

You are going to want to consult a professional. Depending on how you wanted to go about it will dictate what kind of plan you will need. So get with a contractor.

Pre-planning is most important. You need to draw up plans and have these approved before you can get the proper permits to do the construction. There are different considerations is you are extending your living space from inside or if you are simply adding a roof or screening in a deck. Consult a professional before starting.

I depends on the type of enclosure. Glass, although expensive, is actually very easy to install. In this case you just need a frame and the glass pannels.

The place to start would be to get a plan from online or at a hardware store. It would be best to consider the amount of enclosure that you are trying to accomplish. If you want it to be completely closed in; consider metal. If light is what you are after an alternative could be plastic with a wood structure.

Its a pretty big project, that I would not recommend to someone who doesn't have significant experience. Since it is critical that your deck enclosure doesn't fall down on someone, you have to do it properly. It's probably best to hire a company that specializes in this.

You first need to ensure that the deck is clean and free from splinters, then measure the space, purchase the appropriate materials, gather your tools and set to work.

You need to find a good quantity of wood and cut it in uniform shapes and then connect them with each other.
