Habba Syndrome is the result of a gall bladder that is not working properly; producing a large amount of extra bile. Sufferers of this disease experience chronic diarrhea, and it is often confused with Irritable Bowel Syndrome or Spastic Colon. It can be treated with an agent that binds bile acid, taken before meals.

Habba Syndrome is a combination of a dysfunctional gallbladder and chronic diarrhea. Patients with the syndrome suffer different degrees of diarrhea, three or more episodes a day, lasting for at least three months. Though they may not suffer any physical pain, the social embarrassment can take its toll.
