Glucose is an important carbohydrate found in living things. When this carbohydrate is broken down into smaller parts without the presence of oxygen and with a release of energy, this is called glycolysis. It has a particular sequence. It is a way for organisms to ferment sugar such as when yeast is used to make the alcohol in beer.

Do you mean "Glycolysis"? Because I can't find glycosis in my research. It is the process breaking down glucose into pyruvic acid. If you are having difficulties with cramping, don't be concerned with the process so much as what you can do. Potassium helps, consult a nutritional specialist.

Glycosis is carbohydrate that is found in food. It is the main source of energy in the body. During metabolic reactions this molecule may be transformed into fatty acids or proteins. The level of the glycosis in human body is called glycemia.
