Fatfingers syndrome refers to when a person makes a keying error on a keyboard. This often specifically refers to mistakes made by traders when they add an extra zero or two and cause many issues in the stock market or make a trade for a very poor price and cause their employers or client to lose money.

Fatfingers syndrome is not a medical condition. It is used when a person makes a typing mistake that ends badly. One recent example is a New York Stock Exchange trader who made a typing error and and actually drove the markets down.
