DSL stands for digital standard line and is a flat speed that runs through a phone line. Ethernet concerns networking computers together. Therefore, DSL ethernet is running a network over a phone line. This can be a very equitable way to work your network. Depending on usage, DSL could be the way to go.

You're mixing two terms. DSL is a high speed internet that works over phone lines. Ethernet is a networking technology that connects nearby computers (within the same building, typically).
