Brunch is a meal that is usually served mid-morning, replacing both breakfast and lunch. The word 'brunch' is a combination of the words 'breakfast' and 'lunch'. A brunch meal is typically more substantial than breakfast, and includes foods that are either traditionally breakfast or lunch foods. Many hotels serve a Sunday Brunch, especially for special occasions.

Brunch is a mid-morning meal which is served and eaten generally at a time that would be later than a traditional breakfast but earlier than lunch. The menu may one of light foods such as fruits, but also may be items like omelets. This is a good meal for late sleepers who don't want to skip breakfast.

The word "brunch" is a combination of the word "breakfast" and "lunch". The "br" coming from "breakfast" and the "unch" coming from "lunch". The reason for that wording is, that the food is a mix from breakfast and lunch. Typical as food is bread, croissants with jam, honey, cheese or sausage but also salad.

Brunch is a contraction of two words: breakfast and lunch. It is a copious meal taken mainly at the week-ends, towards the end of the morning with the view to cover both breakfast and lunch.
