It is an arc of an electric current.Working method:When the button is pressed one side of each pair of electrodes becomes positively charged,and the other side negatively charged.Since opposite charges attracts each other,the charges jump across the gaps.The arc shaped flame marks the path of current takes.

Electric flame is the flame that a torch needs in order to expell propane to tank. This flame is lit by an electrical pin which ignites the flame process burning.
