What is an easy way to remove the backs of piercing, as in earrings.

I have a hard time getting backs off of my piercings.

The backs are on way too tight if that is happening. You can loosen them by prying them open a bit.

Try replacing your backs with pencil erasers. Cut the eraser off of a new pencil and use that as the back of your earring. Just push the post through--it's spongy. That should be easier to remove.

One way (Did you mean post earrings? ) is to cut the backs off with a wire cutter. You may have one of these lying around in the garage at home. A jewelry wire cutter (which can be purchased at most craft stores) would be easiest to handle.

The easiest way to do that is to apply some oil or vaseline, leave it for some time and then try to pull it open.
