What you have is called a Bagworm. It lives in the little sack and it eats the pine needles. One of the best ways to get rid of them is to pull the little bags off the tree. and then spray the tree with a insecticide.

Possibly a bag worm. Worm lives in a bag and eats the needles. Can spray the bags with a contac insecide and can also pick off the larger worms and bags.

The only worm I have ever seen on a pine tree are those nasty silkworms in the nests or whatever those things are but it may depend on your area. Go to the greenhouse and ask them for worms in your area they will be able to tell you right away and how to get rid of them.

Different worms infest different pine trees. You need to take a sample of your tree and worm to a local landscaper or nursery for identification. Once id has been established the treatment can be decided upon.

Bag worms and they will kil the tree from top down they have spray for them but you have to use it before they get into all of your trees.

Silkworms are a common pest in pines, but the only way to be certain what is in your tree is to take a sample (or a picture) to your local nursery for identification.
