This is difficult to determine since I do not know the type of turtle you own. However, I would try purchasing commercial prepared foods at your local pet store, such as Tetra's Reptomin, Turtle Brittle, or Purina AquaMax. Rep-Cal supplements are also necessary. Check with your vet for more information.

You can buy turtle food at any pet store. It comes in a container similar to fish food. You can probably also feed your turtle lettuce or other leafy vegetables. Make sure you provide it with water to drink also. Store bought turtle food should be inexpensive and is what they are used to if purchased from a pet store.

You should feed the turtle greens such as red or green leaf lettuce, carrots, peas in the pod, and corn. Make sure that the turtle gets enough calcium.

Turtle's are omnivorous, so they can eat both meat and plants. It is recommended that you feed them a combination of fish, insects and fruits and vegetables. Many pet stores will sell food or turtle sticks, which are good for aquatic or semi-aquatic turtles. It is recommended to also give them a live fish once a week.
