I think the best natural laxitive would be pumpkin found in a can. Also, I would suggest buying some catnip or any edible plant which will help the cat nibble on it and help with constipation.

Try giving your cat a little milk. Cats usually have a hard time digesting milk once they are no longer kittens. If that doesn't work take your cat to the vet. Something else could be wrong.

In such cases I give my cat some baby nutrition products, like Milupa milk. It doens't cause a diarrhea, but the result is quick - 4 to 6 hours. And the cat loves the milk. I have herad that boiled pumpkin also helps, but doubt that cat would eat it.

You can try mixing some squash baby food in their wet food to help with constipation. Laxatone is another effective product you can buy at the pet store for hairballs and constipation. Make sure he is getting enough to eat and drink. Take your cat to the veterinarian for a check up to make sure he is not sick.
