What is a "practical" driving test?

Does it exclude parallel parking?

The skills invovled in the driving test vary state-to-state, but in my state (W V) you are required to parallel park. I also know that in Ohio, you are not required to parallel park. You can call the DMV and they will tell you the requirements.

Here in Ohio we have take the road test that consists of two parts , maneuverabliltyand the road test . the manuverabailty took the place of parllel parking

it is a test that requires the tester to apply theoretical driving knowledge in real world applications. Generally, a police officer evaluating your safety and skills on the road. turn signals, seat belt, blind spots, obstacle avoidance, and the biggest one of all parallel parking. must be mastered to receive license
