The normal range for TSH (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone) levels is usually considered to be about 0. 5 to 5.0. However, some researchers believe that this range is too wide, and that 0. 3 to 3. 0 should be regarded as normal.

The ranges of TSH may vary depending on the testing method used. But the normal TSH level is 0. 3 to 5.0. TSH value of 0. 06 is considered low which means high thyroid or hyperthyroidism. High TSH represents low thyroid or hypothyroidism.

The official normal reference range for the Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH)blood test runs from approximately. 5 to 5.0. A reference range is obtained by taking a large group of people in the population, measuring their TSH levels, and calculating a mean value. Supposedly, these people should be free of thyroid disease.
