A majito is a mix of white rum or vodka, lime, seltzer water, mint and sugar. It is usually a very sweet, but also a lot of alcohol flavor. It is a Cuban drink originally, but it most often thought of as an island drink or vacation drink. This associates it with summer and hot weather.

A mojito is a Cuban drink made with white rum, sugar cane sugar, lime, sparking water, and mint. Mix the sugar and lime juice with mint leaves, gently "muddle" (crush) the leaves to release the flavor. That's an art. Mix with rum and sparking water, serve over ice. Mmmmmm.

A mojito is a drink with mint leaves, rum, sugar, lime juice and soda water. This drink is served over ice. First put the ice in the glass and then the mint leaves. Add the rum, sugar, lime juice and then add the soda water. Garnish with more mint leaves.
