In order to be a good boxer or have a chance in the ring you must have great balance, core strength, and endurance. Some of the best workout are; jump roping, a lot of sit ups, and running. Core strength and endurance are very important. Do a lot of abs.

Boxing is a very physically demanding sport. You should train by working a punching bag for 3 minutes and then take a 1 minute break- simulating a round. Repeat. Repeat.

Skipping rope, jogging on the spot, lifting weights, jogging (about 2 miles a day) and shadow boxing would all be useful.

The first is getting your cardio up to speed, as boxers have to go anywhere between eight to twelve three minute rounds. Skip a lot of rope, and do a lot of jogging! In addition, practise on the speed bag, punching bag, and your sparring, and do a lot of upper and body strength exercises.
