A flexible pond liner is best if you are hoping to achieve the natural look. Butyl Rubber, Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer, PVC and High Density Polyethelene are the most popular materials used for flexible liners. Of these, PVC is probably the best. It's inexpensive and easy to use. It's also very durable and will last for up to 10 years.

one of the best natural pond lining material is clay. it is very thick and water does not pass throw it easy at all. and it flexes so you can put it how ever you want it
