This is the diamond anniversary so there is plenty to give. If you're not into traditional gifts and their health permits, send the couple somewhere special.

The diamond is the classic gift for celebrating 60 years. Try diamond jewelry or cufflinks. To eexpensive? Look into a nice crystal set.

The 60th wedding anniversary is traditionally known as the diamond anniversary. As such, anything with a diamond, such as jewelry, would be appropriate. Rings, earrings, or a necklace would be good gifts for a woman, and a tie pin, ring, or cuff links would be good gifts for a man.

A photo collage with photos from when they were first married to the present day, if possible highlighting the most important moments in the couple's life: children, new home, etc.

This is a huge milestone for a couple in their 80's. Take time to find something reminiscent of their years: If you know them well, a personal scrapbook, collage or other remembrance is great. Get their wedding picture to frame, or have it put on mugs or shirts. Or, put something together that represents these 60 years in history.

Perhaps a photo album or scrapbook would be a good gift. You can let them know that you'd love to spend some time with them putting together pictures for the photo album or doing scrap booking together. There's nothing like the gift of time and togetherness. I'm sure the happy couple will be pleased!

A diamond locket (doesn't have to be expensive), with your wedding picture inside and maybe you can get your favorite saying or a piece of the wedding vow inscribed on the back.
