Follicular neoplasm is a type of problem with your thyroid. It can be cancerious or not. Your doctor would have to do some tests to check and see if you have it. If you do they will check and see if it is cancerious. I am not even sure if you can tell if you have it or not.

Neoplasm refers to uncontrolled or abnormal growth of cells located in a sac or gland in the body. The question is usually asked in reference to the thyroid gland and its function.

Well neoplasm means that there is an abnormal overgrowth. A follicle is a sac in the ovary with an immature egg. So an overgrowth of immature eggs.
