The U.S. has no policies regarding the special treatment of persons of certain ethnic or religious backgrounds. The U.S. has a policy that all people are treat equally and have the same, equal access to rights and privileges. Arabs and Muslims are not due any special treatment.

The United States has made it clear that bigotry toward Arabic or Muslim populations will not be tolerated. You will be charged with a hate crime. American society in general has been very accepting of our Arabic and Muslim brethren. It is exceedingly rare that you will encounter prejudice toward these people in the United States.

There are no policies that address Muslims and Arabs in particular. Muslims and Arabs are protected by hate crimes legislation because they are an ethnic and religious minority. For example, vandalism of a mosque, if shown to be motivated by hate, would carry a stiffer penalty than vandalizing a store or park.
