This is a very early stage of breast cancer. Treatment could be just to watch or breast-spearing surgery followed by radiation.

In Stage O of breast cancer, there is no evidence that the cancerous cells have broke out of the part of the breast in which they began and the neighboring tissue is still normal. There are 3 different kinds of treatments. Treatment can be a total mastectomy, a lumpectomy and radiation, or just a lumpectomy.

Stage 0 breast cancer is non-invasive breast cancer. Detection of these cells is often difficult, but has a high survival rate with treatment.
