In the 2010 FA Cup final, Chelsea FC defeated Portsmouth by a score of 1-0. Didier Drogba scored the game-winning goal, and Chelsea completed its "double" (having earlier won the English Premier League title). This was Portsmouth's last game before being demoted to the Championship. Chelsea's Michael Ballack was injured in this game and missed the World Cup.
