There are many fruits that are indigenous to Israel. Classically speaking, the fruits indigenous to Isreal would be grapes, dates, figs, olives, and pomegranates. But many more fruits are found thriving in Isreal. Some of them include: guava, bananas, avocados, apples, peaches, pears, plums, oranges and other types of citrus fruit.

The date, pomegranate, tzbar (a prickly pear), red and yellow papayas, and the fig, are all fruits that are native to Israel.

Actually I thought tzabar was originated in Israel as well, however it is indigenous to Mexico. And the date is so old that its native state was probably in North Africa near Israel..  add a comment

Bananas and oranges are found along the coasts of Israel. Prickly pears, persimmons, blondes, star ruby fruits, grapes, pomegranates, figs and dates are also native to Isreal. The most well known fruits native to Israel are the figs and dates. These native fruits are served during a holiday called Tu B'Shevat, the "New Year for Trees".
