Foods like garlic, dark turkey meat, oysters, pot roast, shittake mushrooms... basically any foods that are high in zinc. Yogurt is also a great aid.

Mushrooms are said to be good in helping raise white blood cells more specifically Shiitake mushrooms. Red meats and chicken have a high amount of zinc which is said to help raise white blood cell counts. Cheese and Dairy products also contain a fair amount of zinc for vegitarians.

There are a lot of components to making healthy white blood cells. The most common deficiencies are iron, B12 and folate. Folate is found in green leafy vegtables. B12 and iron is found in meat, especially red meat. The key is a balanced diet, if so there is no need for supplements.

Foods that are higher in zinc are generally good for helping to bulid white blood cells, so try lean meats. Also try power foods like blueberries. It's also best to avoid any alcohol in your normal diet.

There are lots of food that can boost your immune system, thus increasing your white blood cell count. Yogurt with live active cultures can increase white blood cells. Garlic is another food that can increase white blood cells, as well as add flavor to lots of yummy food creations!
