The tern "vegan" denotes a person who eats no food or drink containing any animal content. This relates to meats such as beef or pork, but also to other foods which have been produced by animals, such as milk, cheese and eggs. Packaging on food products will help you - make sure you choose foods that stipulate "Suitable for vegans"

Pretty much anything made from or produced by an animal. This includes things like Chicken Eggs and Cows Milk. You are however allowed to eat plant based or plant made products.
