There is no flower that is a must for a bride's bouquet though common flowers that are more traditional include roses and calla lilies. Typically a bride's bouquet is white or mostly white but colors such as red can indicate passion and love.

A traditional bride's bouquet includes white or ivory roses. There are no specific traditions of types of flowers for bride bouquets in the American culture. However, this does not mean a tradition does not exisit in another culture.
