Fish are being over-fished to meet the demands of our society. People running the fishing industry are putting higher caps on their fish qouta, meaning more fish need to be caught. In some instances, invasive species such as snakeheads need to be fished to remove them from the population. Over fishing helps protect wildlife and endangered species.
