What economic changes did the world experience following WWI?

Many cities in Europe has damaged from the war, making the government suffers a lot.However, The US is not directly involved in the war. Actually, the war helped them get out of the recession, which lead to their advance in economics because they spent far less money for recoveries.

It created a significant shift in where money and resources came from. Technology, like cars and radios, grew rapidly. The war also put most European countries deeply in debt, while the U.S. became flush with money. Inflation grew rapidly as governments tried paying back loans by printing more money.
