Vasovagal syncope is where a person passes out due to a trigger, most commonly stress and shock. In many cases a person might have be triggered and their heart rate would drop causing one to pass out, this kind of stress can damage one with heart disease even more.

Vasovagal syncope or Fainting may indicate that the brain is not sufficiently supplied with oxygenated blood. Thus, it may also mean that the heart, pumping organ that supplies blood to the body, is not properly functioning. The underlying factor could be a heart disorder or impairment.
