What does "pm" stand for?

I hear it with reference to world leaders but it's the same as when you say the time.

In the United Kingdom and other countries with a parliamentary system of government, the PM is the Prime Minister. When referring to time, PM stands for "post meridiem," which is Latin for "after midday. " The PM hours are the hours between noon and midnight. AM stands for "ante meridiem," Latin for "before midday. "

The letters "pm" in reference to a world leader stands for Prime Minister, usually the equivalent of a President. When "pm" or "p. m. " refers to the time of day, it means post meridian. This phrase means afternoon.
