People tend to urinate more during winter as the insensible water losses are minimal in cold climate. Polyuria could also be indicative of Diabetes Mellitus along with other features like polydipsia[increased thirst] and polyphagia[increased hunger].

Frequent urination can be an early sign of pregnancy or an indication that you are consuming more fluids than normal.

Well for starters, think about your fluid intake for the past several hours. If you have increased your fluid intake that as a normal body balance, you should be urinating more often. If you have diabetes, this could be a sign of an elevated glucose.
