Black spots that move around slowly are usually floaters in the vitreous humor behind the lens (the liquid inside the eye). This can happen if the epithelial tissue inside sloughs off and begins to float around. Spots that do not move in a floating fashion and stay in the same place in your field of view could be retina injury.

If you mean spots in your vision, it could be any number of retinal problems. If you mean in your physical eyes, it could be debris. See your eye doctor.

Floaters are small cells floating around on the inside of your eye. They are harmless and should go away without treatment. Watch for any black curtain effect which becomes serious.
