What does it mean when I get the reset service message on my Volvo xc90?

This is a message asking you if you want to reset the service indicator. More than likely at your last service it was left in the mode while the mechanic reset your service indicator. You should be able to scroll through your menu functions and the message will go away.

This most probably means that your car needs service and you will have to take it to any workshop who have the right computer to plug it with. It might be hard to find such a workshop but i'm sure you will find it in your town. It doesn't cost much to solve this issue.

The reset message, could mean that your car requires, an oil change or the message may mean that car needs to be serviced.

These messages mean that you have to find a mechanic that has a computer that accepts your volvo. There is no easy way around the message like in lots of other cars. Swedish built cars are hard to figure out electronics wise. It probably won't cost much to get an error reset.

when you get the reset service message it means that your car most likely needs a tune up because something in it is not working the way it should so i would bring it to a shop and have them put it on a computer

There is going to be a reset button in the fuse box. It will reset any trouble codes you are having with your Volvo.
