In stage 3 breast cancer the cancer has not spread to other parts of the body beyond the breast and lymph nodes. there are 2 stage 3's: 3a and 3b.

your aunt is suffering from stage 3 breast cancer which means that she is very advanced stage of cancer the treatment includes only either surgery in which they might remove the breast and nodes if it is spread in nodes and then follow up chemotheraphy and radiation
