WHAT DOES IT MEAN WHEN YOUR ARMS & HANDS GO NUMB This means that a section of the blood vessels that circulate blood through various parts of the arm is blocked or one is infected by diseases of certain nerves in the body

A pinched nerve(s) could cause this. The nerve could be pinched becuase the spine is out of alignment or becuase the muscles in the shoulders/neck are tense and pinching the nerve. The former needs to be adressed by a chiropractor, and the latter a massage could be very beneficial.

It could be a pinched nerve, but this is highly unlikely. A pinched nerve would more likely cause a problem in one area of your body. You are probably laying in a position that causes the blood flow to decrease to to your arms and hands. If this continues to happen, I would bring it up with your doctor.
