What does "dona nobis pacem" mean?

It means "grant us peace" . In French "allez en paix". It's part of the Agnus Dei in the Catholic mass. It's also the title of some religious pieces of music like in a mass of J. s. Bach. or a Cantata by Vaughan Williams. During the mass, the agnus dei is sung during the fraction rite.
