A T3 thyroid level checks the amount of thyroid hormone of the T3 type. The T3 type is the type that is active in the body and responsible for doing all the work that thyroid hormones do. There is range but normal is 2. 0 to 4.0.

well it is used to test the thyroid area, mainly the doctor will use the results to diagnose if you have hyper thyroidism problem or not. the normal level is supposed to be 5.
