Rabbits have very sensitive digestive tracts, and need hay to help break up hairballs (Timothy for older rabbits, alfalfa for rabbits under 1 year) and lots of fresh greens. Fruits should be given sparingly as they can cause diarrhea, and only certain ones. Rabbits especially love bananas (a small 1" piece is perfect) and kale.

You need a good sized cage with a wire floor so the feces drop down to the litter pan below. The wire squares should be no bigger than .5" x 1" or the rabbit's feet will fall through. Rabbit food can be purchased at any major supermarket and make sure your rabbit has a large water bottle.

You should play and groom the rabbit often they tend to like that also start with foods that are easy to eat and when the rabbit ages you can start giving him harder to eat foods such as carrots!

They make rabbit pellets that you can buy at most pet food stores. Mine always ate lettuce and hay. I gave them the pellets on occasion. I kept my rabbits in a cage and just made sure it was clean and dry. i made sure the rabbit was clean too.

Rabbits need to have a regular diet of a proper rabbit pellet, hay and water. Their cage or hutch must be kept clean and out of drafts.

You need to keep them dry and warm and their cages above the ground and feed them rabbit pellets and vegetables, and keep their area clean from debris and feces.

Do not overfeed your rabbits because that will cause them to become sick. Make sure you are feeding the rabbits the correct diet to keep them healthy and to keep them moving regularly and at full speed.

Rabbit nutrition is the most important part of caring for your bunny. A good quality rabbit food that is fresh, soy and wheat free and all natural is the best. Take a look at Sherwood Forest Natural Rabbit Food to get tons of information on rabbit food and nutrition.
