What do I do when my rabbits bite each other?

Rabbits don't really like to bite each other. They will groom each other but that really isn't biting. If they are 2 males then you really must keep them in seperate cages or they will fight and bite each other every chance they get. It is much better to have a male and a female together.

Rabbits bite each other as a sign of dominance. If you see this happen, you can gently nudge the rabbit who is biting on his backside in order to assert that neither of them is in charge, YOU are.

When your rabbits bite each other, you should take extra care to keep them separated. They may injure each other otherwise.

Try to be more accepting of your rabbits' alternative lifestyle choices. While their behavior may seem kinky and inappropriate to you, their choice is valid for them, and you shouldn't judge them. They're rabbits, after all. Alternatively, you could rub something that tastes terrible in their fur, like Grannick's Bitter Apple.

If they are leaving marks making each other bleed then you may have to seperate them from each other because this isnt safe to leave them together if they are doing this.

Rabbits usually nip each other on the rear to make the other one move. In a way it's asserting their dominance.
