You need to be careful. Hornets can be very aggressive. Go to a home maintenance store like Home Depot, Menards or Lowes. Get Raid Hornet nest spray. Make sure the room is well ventilated and apply the spray. You'll need to air out the room well once the nest is dead and you have removed it.

This is a hazardous situation and for safety you should contact a professional bee removal service. You can find them in the yellow pages for your area. They have protective gear, chemicals and other equipment to safely remove the nest. They will also help you prevent it from happening again in the future.

You need to call an exterminator because if you try to remove it yourself you will get attacked by the colony. An exterminator will remove it safely and then your house will be hornet free.

If it's a small nest, evacuate the house and spray with Raid. If it's large, or you're not sure how big it is, you should call a professional.

This is a very dangerous situation. The best thing to do is clear out whichever room its in, cover your body up entirely with multiple layers of clothes and some sort of mask. Black Flag makes a foaming spray that kills on contact, its the best kind to use, get as close as you can and spray, run, then cleanup
