Catfish are omnivores. They can eat worms and other fish. They also eat aquatic vegetation. When domesticated, it is best to provide catfish with a variety of food. There are worms you can purchase to feed your fish. You can also grow real aquatic plants in your tank!

Catfish will eat all sorts of food. Since they are bottom feeders literally whatever is on the bottom. That can be flake food, frozen, shrimp or even plant pellets. In the wild they are known to eat trash, basically anything they can swallow. In an aquarium if you give them a balanced diet they will thrive.

Alright, catfish are sometimes referred to as "garbage fish" to some. To catch them you can use just about anything that you have in your tackle box as long as it's live. Try catching it off of a worm. They usually hit off of bloody chicken liver.
