I thought Scarface with Al Pacino was a legendary film. Still to this days anyone from gangsters to young teenagers are quoting the film. Brian Depalma did an excellent job with this remake. Al Pacino did a great job playing the character Tony Montana. First you get the money, then power, then the women.

I have seen "Scarface" with Al Pacino a few times. The movie's characters were somewhat superficial and could have had more depth to them. Ironically, the best performance was given by one of the supporting actors, Robert Loggia. However, the plot maintains your interest and the ending has to be one of the most compelling ones ever in movies.

I think that it was extremely far fetched. I think that there are FAR better gangster movies out there (some of which include Casino, Good Fellas and Donnie Brasco). I think Pacino's charachter was done to the extreme, and didn't follow the real rise of how the "Mafia" really works.

I think the movie is one of the most well done depictions of cocaine and what it has done to this country. Al Pacino is superb and plays a cuban better than a cuban. The gut wrenching story line and the use of South Florida was right on point. I would recommend this movie to any adult.
