What could cause my goat to be bloated?

My goat is bloated.

The goat may have simply been overeating, or it may have eaten a weed that caused an imbalance in the rumen. For example, milk weed is among many kinds that may create bloating. Also, bloating might be produced by a sudden shift in diet, or a lack of potassium or magnesium.

A goat that is not eating enough hay or grass will easily bloat. They need roughage to maintain the balance in their rumen.

is there a possibility that the goat ate something that is not in his usual diet or did he eat more or drink more than usual
