In infertility, about fifty per cent is the woman's fault and fifty per cent the man's. A low sperm count or scarred fallopian tubes are just two reasons.

There are so many possibilities, it is best to seek professional help. It could be you or your husband and there is no way to tell without tests. If you have been trying for over 6 months and your periods are regular, go for an evaluation. Do it now!

There are many possible causes, and both you and your husband need to see a doctor to find out what is wrong. Stress can actually decrease fertility, and it might be as simple as that. Other problems could include cysts, fibroids, hormonal imbalances, low sperm count, or a whole array of other possibilities, many of which are treatable.

Infertility can be by genetic incompatibilities, such as matched up recessives. It can be caused by prior sexually transmitted diseases or abortions. About 20% of cases have no identifiable cause.
