If you're television doesn't turn on after a power failure, it's quite possible that your television blew a fuse and will no longer work.

If you are using a power strip, the power outage may have affected the breaker on the strip. Usually there is a reset switch or button. It could also be the breaker at your main power box.

It may have blown a fuse due to a sudden surge of electricity. The picture tubes may be busted and inoperable.

It is likely that the power supply fuse of the television is blown out or the supply socket fuse could have blown due to the power surge that could have caused the failure. It is important to be checked well since a loose connection in the power supply could also cause this roblem.
